This was a project for an Atlanta Halloween party. I was tasked with taking pictures to convey the story through the night. I decided to use darkness and bold, bright lights as my theme. I wanted to show the more simple moody side of a night like this.

Project Goal

The project's goal was to have anyone viewing the pictures feel the setting and be given a story of how things might have happened. Taking them to the full experience of that night without being there.

Overview

Working right in the field with your project is important sometimes. If I never actually went to the party and just had someone take the pictures, the deeper meaning wouldn't be there. You have to step back from a project sometimes to expand it but you should also have a connection with it.

Its always good to take on new changes. Even if you don't know if it will workout or not. At the end of the day you will still learn from it. If I never took up this project. I would never know how to shoot in the complete dark.
