Life Through Type

This project was, based on making my life into different forms of type-based information papers—for example, maps, info-forms, etc. I expanded on this project by adding physical objects to get to know myself. Each piece of information guide was made into a physical object to make the user experience more interactive.

Project Goal

The goal of this flyer is to convey how our names can define us as a person. I chose an IKEA manual because the name represents its products. With sping 2019 describing me as a person. The design is very simplistic and airy for a strong sense of hierarchy.

Overview

By choosing to make this second piece a blueprint because of all the small inner details they give. It let me design on a grid. This is sometimes very common with graphic design, so I kept most of my design touching a line or sitting on one. To keep the viewer's eye moving.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
  1. Creating personal connection
  2. Use of colors for guidance
  3. Simple grid system for easy consumption
  4. Connecting to real-world references

Grabbing the consumer’s attention isn’t enough; you have to keep that attention for at least a few seconds. This is where your benefits come into play or a product description that sets your offer apart from the others.
